About the Role:
This Business Product Specialist position is an individual contributor role to address Operations and Systems work associated with claims growth, the development and ongoing enhancement of new applications and other various topic areas requiring analysis, documentation and process design. As a member of the Everest Insurance Claims Operations staff, the Business Product Specialist will be dedicated to supporting the Claims organization, and its various Claims Transformation projects.

The base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $121,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location. All offers include access to a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).

- Business process improvement.
- Requirements elicitation, documentation and analysis.
- Data analysis (issue identification, trend analysis, investigatory, forensic).
- Project and work stream leadership.
- Organizational and meeting facilitation.
- Problem-solving involving systems, data issues, process irregularities and coding.
Process Design Management
- Develop and facilitate the improvement of Claims operational processes throughout the claim lifecycle, including interfaces and interdependencies with underwriting and stakeholders.
- Identify and drive process improvements across Everest Insurance Claims platform.
System Design and Implementation
- Provide analysis and documentation in support of Claims systems in terms of business strategy, requirements, and acceptance testing. Close alignment with and management of technology resources throughout the process is required. Involvement in post-delivery enhancement also required.
- Support of design, requirements development, and implementation of technology tools.
Analytical Skills
- Analyze workflow and process, data and make good decisions that positively impact outcomes.
- Assist in the tracking, reporting, and analysis of Claims Operations metrics and expenses.
Business Process Support
- Develop and expand subject matter expertise in key Claims business processes and systems.
- Provide change management support across the claims organization, facilitating the adoption of process and system improvements and driving optimal utilization of such methods and tools.
- Champion best practices and optimal systems utilization in support of best practices.
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or related work experience.
- Property and casualty insurer and Claims-related experience are desired, but not essential.
- Previous business analysis and/or project management desired, but not an absolute prerequisite.
- Experience designing and delivering end user training desired but not required.
