Description
We are offering a position for a Service Desk Team Lead in the Financial Services industry, based in McAllen, Texas. This role is crucial to our team as it involves coordinating first-line support to bank employees and troubleshooting computer end-user issues.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring satisfactory resolution of Help Desk calls by following up with internal customers.
Responsible for handling various hardware and software problems, providing network support, and resolving password issues for end users.
Documenting and maintaining a record of Help Desk calls in the incident management database.
Monitoring ATMs activities, server events, performance, and LAN/WAN bandwidth utilization and developing reports.
Managing the hiring, daily activities, coaching, evaluating, and counseling of reporting staff.
Participating in job-specific training and other various Bank training programs as necessary.
Keeping up-to-date with internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policy, and ensuring adherence by the respective department personnel.
Complying with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operations, and ensuring adherence by the respective department personnel.
Maintaining current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/AML, and ensuring adherence by the respective department personnel. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Service Desk Team Lead role within the Financial Services industry.
Proficiency in using 3M and ADP - Financial Services software tools.
Experience with Avaya CMS and Ceridian software solutions.
Familiarity with Cisco Webex Meetings application for online collaboration.
Competence in using About Time software for efficient time management.
Solid knowledge and experience in auditing processes within the financial services sector.
Proficiency in handling billing functions and associated tasks.
Experience in managing and overseeing budget processes.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective team management and client interactions.
