Job Details

The Azure Cloud Architect will be responsible for architecting and deploying secure, scalable, and resilient Azure-based solutions aligned with the firm s compliance, risk, and operational objectives. This role will work cross-functionally with IT Infrastructure, Enterprise Business Systems, Security, Information Governance and Compliance teams to ensure deployed cloud environments meet industry and regulatory standards.

In this capacity, the Azure Cloud Architect will:

  • Cloud Architecture & Strategy
  • Develop automation scripts for repeatable deployments;
  • Define tagging, cost controls, policy enforcement, and identity/access management (IAM) strategies;
  • Collaboration & Support
  • Partner with application owners, IT infrastructure, and security teams to ensure smooth migration and ongoing operations of workloads in Azure; Support investigations, incident response, and security audits involving cloud assets;
  • Innovation & Optimization
  • Continuously evaluate new Azure services, automation capabilities, and tools to enhance productivity and reduce risk;
  • Guide optimization of cost, performance, and operational efficiency across the Azure estate;
  • Security & Compliance
  • Implement and govern security best practices including Azure Policy, Azure Key Vault, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Azure Security Center;
  • Collaborate with Information Security to enforce encryption (at rest/in transit), DLP, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust principles; and
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks, such as ISO 27001.
