HR Coordinator (Talent Acquisition & Strategic)

Location: Plano, TX, 75023 -(Hybrid, required to work on site 3 times / week)

Duration: 6 Months (+)

Work Hours: 08:30 ~ 17:30 (subject to changed)

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with recruiters to understand position requirements, skills, and experience needed for logistics-related roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers and business group or organization leads, and key stakeholders to understand unique talent needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
  • Research and identify potential candidates through online databases, social media platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.), industry job boards, and logistics networking groups.
  • Source candidates with utilizing search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other innovative sourcing techniques to find the best talent in the market
  • Directly contact candidates via phone, email, and messaging platforms to introduce job opportunities and assess qualifications.
  • Build strong talent pipelines through sourcing on job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach for warehouse, transportation, freight, and supply chain positions.
  • Screen candidates for basic logistics skills, work experience, and interest before passing them to recruiters.
  • Keep the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) updated with accurate candidate records and sourcing activity.
  • Track sourcing progress, outreach response rates, and provide regular updates to the recruiting team.
  • Support employer branding efforts in the logistics community by attending industry events, job fairs, and networking activities.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to improve sourcing strategies and candidate engagement.
  • Perform other recruiting support tasks as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition
  • Experience or knowledge of the logistics, warehouse, transportation, or supply chain industry preferred.
  • Strong research skills and ability to use sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Resume Search, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple searches at once.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus.
  • Positive, proactive, and team-oriented mindset.
  • May require occasional travel for logistics industry job fairs or recruiting events.
