Company Background: Our client, a major employer in the area, is looking for a CAE Engineer BS Degree to be part of its team in its North American operations.
Description:

Responsibilities:

• Meshing Sheet metal, Resin and solid parts
• Model build coordination and model assembly
• Pre-processing
  • Adding or replacing parts in LS-dyna.
  • Connecting parts, updating spotwelds adding or updating contacts
  • Adding or updating data outputs, such as cross sections, accelerometers
  • Following Client procedures for moving or positioning Client Dummy models and seats.
• Submitting simulations with Client internal process and software
• Post-processing / analyzing CAE results.
  • Creating reports of work
  • Communicating results to design engineers and team.
  • Negotiating countermeasures with Client R&D and design engineers.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of Crash Safety CAE experience with LS-Dyna. Front or Side impact experience is ideal.
• Strong analysis capabilities
• Experience with Pre and Post processing tools. Ideally:
  • Oasys Primer
  • ANSA or Hypermesh
  • GNS-mbH Animator
  • Excel
