Summary of Responsibilities:
The Salesforce support administrator consults with management and helps develop software to meet internal clients' needs. This position must provide accurate, quality analysis of new program applications, as well as conduct testing, locate potential problems, and efficiently solve them.
Primary Responsibilities and Objectives:
Manage user profiles, roles, permissions, and page layouts to ensure secure and efficient access
Handle license activations, permission updates, and public group management to support user functionality
Execute Salesforce configuration changes, including Flows, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports
Conduct regular data audits, deduplication efforts, and quality checks to maintain the integrity of the Salesforce database
Reconcile differences between Salesforce and external systems by manipulating and analyzing data effectively
Demonstrate proficiency in using Salesforce Data Loader and Import Wizard for data migration and manipulation
Develop a deep understanding of business processes and provide comprehensive support to users
Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimize workflows within Salesforce
Work in agile project management
Configure and monitor native flow process automation, ensuring seamless interactions with alerts, validations, and custom components
Triage helpdesk tickets, providing timely support to users and escalating complex issues as needed
Monitor user adoption of Salesforce and implement strategies to enhance engagement and maximize platform effectiveness
Provide courteous and responsive support to users, fostering a collaborative work environment
Analyze critical stages and close dates to ensure accurate property list reporting
Set up and maintain automated alerts for deal closures and inactive deals
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop insights and reporting that drive business decisions
Provide accurate analysis of new program applications, conduct testing, identify potential issues, and implement solutions
Collaborate with internal teams to understand system requirements and ensure smooth implementation of new processes or updates
Support Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and SSO to ensure platform security and user access
Maintain adherence to Salesforce security best practices, protecting sensitive data and user access
Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
One to two years of experience in Salesforce
Experience in property management is preferred
Prior experience in Yardi, Voyager, or another equivalent system is preferred
Skills and Requirements:
Intermediate to advanced level knowledge with MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe
Ability to work independently, under minimal to moderate supervision, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
Sensitivity to confidential matters is required
Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with others effectively and sensitively with clients, and all levels of management
Ability to display good judgment when unpredictable situations arise
Capability to read, comprehend, and converse in English
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to others
Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing and Preventing Discrimination and Harassment training and other courses if assigned
Scheduling:
Required to maintain a regular schedule which may require working outside business hours, weekends, and non-traditional holidays
Environment:
Exposure to environment typically found in an office building
Physical Requirements:
