Description

We are looking for a skilled Help Desk Analyst II to join our team in Syracuse, New York. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical support and ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for troubleshooting and resolving IT issues in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
Deploy and set up PCs for both refresh cycles and new employee onboarding.
Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of IT assets across the organization.
Install, configure, and perform repairs on computer hardware and software systems.
Offer clear guidance and technical support to users, helping them resolve issues effectively.
Escalate complex technical problems to the appropriate teams or personnel when necessary.
Monitor and identify recurring technical issues, proactively notifying the IT team to address underlying problems.
Troubleshoot and document workstation failures in a fast-paced, real-time environment.
Develop and implement procedures or documentation to support employees and management with system applications.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical solutions effectively.
Experience working in medium-sized organizations with multiple office locations is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Teams.
Familiarity with Active Directory, computer hardware, and configuration management.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with Apple devices, Mac computers, and Microsoft Windows.
Prior experience with technologies such as Cisco, Citrix, and Android development is desirable.
