Role: Acquisition Analyst
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid Remote, Onsite 1-2 days a week, Tuesdays)
Duration: 6 Month contract-to-hire
Clearance: Must be eligible for Public Trust
Pay Rate: $140,000 to $150,000

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Acquisition Analyst to provide support in the areas of program analysis, goals management, data management, program control, liaison with oversight organizations, and regulatory compliance for the FAA Program Management Office (PMO). The candidate would be a reliable self-starter who can contribute and grow with our organization.
Responsibilities
  • Apply knowledge of Acquisition Management System (AMS) and Joint Resources Council (JRC) processes and FAA systems such as SPIRE to support PMO activities.
  • Develop spreadsheets, briefings, and other program documents such as Range of Alternatives, Business Case Analysis
  • Schedule meetings as needed to support PMO program goals and related activities and milestones.
  • Develop spreadsheets, briefings, and other program documents.
  • Provides analytical support and assistance in collecting, organizing, and clarifying various program-related objectives and/or issues.
  • Assists in the collection and consolidation of required information and data.
  • Conducts comparative analyses to provide trends, projections, and recommendations.
  • Supports the planning, execution, and documenting of high-level meetings by assisting with scheduling; preparing agendas; recording notes; and capturing discussion points and action items.
  • Develops a variety of communication materials. Reviews and edits material and formats for clarity and in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and interim reports as required.
  • Monitors and reports project status and risks using established metrics.
Education
Bachelor's degree required in Business, Finance or related field.
Qualifications
  • Must have at least 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Must have experience with the FAA's AMS/JRC process.
  • Able to coordinate schedules and meetings in support of PMO objectives and activities.
  • Intermediate level skills using MS Office and related tools.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Attentive and strategic thinker who possesses problem solving skills.
  • Good writing and briefing skills
  • Experience with drafting, editing, and coordinating responses to congressional oversight is a plus.
Work Requirements
  • Work location: Washington, DC
  • Work Hours: Onsite 1-2 days per month. Normal working hours
  • Travel: 0%-10%
