Description
We are looking for a highly experienced VP of Business & Media Intelligence to lead strategic initiatives in data analytics and business intelligence. This role requires a visionary leader who excels at transforming complex data into actionable insights, developing innovative tools, and driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies. Based in Pearl River, New York, this position offers the opportunity to shape the future of BI solutions for both internal teams and external clients.
Responsibilities:
Optimize the organization's use of business intelligence tools to uncover impactful insights, ensuring solutions meet the needs of internal teams and external clients.
Lead the design and development of reporting portals for client and internal use, crafting roadmaps for best-in-class solutions.
Define team strategy, set annual goals, and oversee the refinement of roles and responsibilities within the BI team.
Drive innovation through the evaluation and adoption of AI technologies that enhance data insights and reporting capabilities.
Build and maintain a prioritized roadmap for new capabilities, infrastructure improvements, and emerging technology adoption.
Supervise a team of five, conducting performance reviews and fostering growth and development.
Collaborate across departments to align BI strategies with organizational objectives and refine data tools.
Stay ahead of industry trends through research, networking, and continuous learning to ensure competitive advantages.
Evaluate third-party solutions and explore opportunities for custom-built tools to meet evolving business needs.
Ensure seamless project management practices to deliver high-quality BI solutions efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of experience in business intelligence and analytics, particularly within media-focused companies.
Proven expertise with BI tools such as Power BI and Datorama.
Strong understanding of media campaign KPIs and the ability to present clear, actionable visualizations and reports.
Excellent communication skills, with a history of fostering internal and client relationships.
Deep knowledge of data manipulation techniques, including proficiency with relational databases and programming tools like Python.
Familiarity with analytics trends and data science innovations.
Formal project management experience, with PMP certification preferred.
Ability to manage cross-functional projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
