Job Title: Infrastructure Architect
Location: Naperville, IL Hybrid (30% Remote)
Type: Contract to Hire

Submittal Deadline: ASAP Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Architect to lead incident management and drive technical resolution across enterprise systems. This is a hands-on role suited for a proactive leader with a strong background in AWS Cloud, system troubleshooting, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage high-severity incidents and root cause analysis

  • Host technical war rooms to coordinate issue resolution

  • Provide updates to leadership during production outages

  • Design and support resilient and scalable AWS infrastructure

  • Troubleshoot issues across AWS, Salesforce, databases, and networking

  • Guide collaboration with vendors and internal teams

  • Mentor junior engineers and promote a DevOps mindset

  • Monitor system health using tools like Datadog

Must-Have Skills:

  • 10+ years in IT infrastructure/cloud operations

  • Strong AWS hands-on expertise (EC2, VPC, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)

  • Solid knowledge of Salesforce platform administration/integration

  • Experience with Databases (SQL & NoSQL)

  • Proficiency in Datadog or similar observability tools

  • Hands-on with Cisco networking (VLANs, switches, routing)

  • Scripting with Python/Bash or Infrastructure-as-Code tools

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Azure and Snowflake experience

  • DevOps & CI/CD pipeline exposure

  • Consulting or client-facing experience

Interview Process:

2 3 rounds of interviews. Final round will be on-site at Naperville, IL.
