Position Responsibilities:
- Empower teams so they can operate with a high degree of autonomy and self-organization, and deliver to business priorities
- Manage your team and their deliverables, including projections for future needs, to ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Work with team members to manage work priorities, facilitate skill assignments, and address people actions in order to maintain high performing work teams
- Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships on a global scale with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Manage technical debt to ensure products get and stay ahead of the technology obsolescence curve
- Identify, recruit, develop, engage, and retain team talent
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing multi-disciplined technical teams
- 5+ years of experience working in Agile teams
- 5+ years of experience leading integration efforts between multiple IT organizations in a business-facing role
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with software startup
- Experience with Agile software development
- Experience engaging with senior leadership, technical team members, and external stakeholders
- Experience identifying the right skills for the right projects, experience with working closely with Human Resources (HR) and Staffing to grow and develop a highly functional team
- Experience coaching and mentoring peers and/or reports to continuous learning and improvement
