Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Administrator with AWS to manage, maintain, and optimize the Snowflake data platform. This role focuses on platform administration, security, performance tuning, and coordination with AWS cloud services.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesSnowflake Platform Administration
- Snowflake platform setup, security, and maintenance
- Warehouse administration including automated and manual auto-scaling
- High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity planning
- Account-level administration and configuration
- Upstream and downstream interface setup and maintenance
- Platform monitoring and audit activities
- Snowflake vendor coordination and support
User & Security Management
- User administration and Identity & Access Management (RBAC)
Performance & Resource Optimization
- Performance tuning for expensive queries
- Platform and warehouse performance optimization
- Resource monitor configuration and management
Configuration Management
- Account, warehouse, and database-level configuration changes
AWS Cloud Administration
- AWS subscription administration in conjunction with the Snowflake platform
- Strong experience as a Snowflake Administrator
- Expertise in Snowflake security, RBAC, and user administration
- Hands-on experience with performance tuning and optimization
- Experience managing HA/DR and business continuity
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud administration
