Job Overview:
The Client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the transition from its existing Coolgen reporting system to a new Java/Jasper-based reporting system. This is a new, on-site position that will play a critical role in report analysis, data verification, technical documentation, and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze existing Client reporting system and document report-specific needs.
Meet with court users and committee members to gather requirements and prioritize features for the new reporting system.
Collaborate with developers to perform data extraction and analysis.
Create detailed technical documentation and mapping documents to support the transition process.
Validate the accuracy and consistency of data by comparing outputs between the old and new systems.
Document existing reports and summarize findings for development handoff.
Verify if required reports exist on other systems through collaboration with the Court Business Services Unit.
Assist with SQL-based data verification and prepare initial technical documentation for report migration.
Participate in system testing and validation of report functionality.
