This is a player-coach role - we're looking for someone who can lead with clarity, execute with technical excellence, and roll up their sleeves when needed.

Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of ~10 engineers focused on cloud infrastructure, DevOps, automation, and platform engineering.
- Drive the strategy and execution of Arlo's cloud infrastructure roadmap, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
- Guide platform modernization initiatives and help build out internal hosting platforms with a focus on repeatability and self-service.
- Serve as the primary thought leader for infrastructure-as-code practices (especially Terraform) and CI/CD processes.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure alignment and seamless delivery of services.
- Provide technical leadership in AWS, and support the growth of capabilities in Google Cloud Platform and (lightly) OCI.
- Own cloud cost optimization, resource governance, and operational excellence metrics.
- Stay on top of industry trends and continuously evaluate emerging technologies.

Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and/or DevOps roles, including 3+ years managing technical teams.
- Deep, hands-on expertise with AWS (IAM, VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.) and strong exposure to Terraform.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or Azure, and an ability to guide teams in exploring multi-cloud strategies.
- Solid knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD tooling (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, etc.), and configuration management.
- Experience in building and maintaining secure, resilient, and cost-effective platforms in production.
- Strong coding/scripting experience in at least one language (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).
- Proven success leading technical modernization initiatives and working across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, people leadership, and decision-making skills.
