Role : RPG Developer
Work location : Remote
Skillsets:
- Over 10+ years of IT experience in the Analysis, Design, Development, Debug and Testing of various applications.
- Over 10 years of technical expertise in RPG/400, CL/400, DB2/400, RPGIV, OS/400, RPGILE, SQL/400 and CLLE
- Experience utilizing Visual Studio Code with RPGLE, CLLE code
- Strong understanding of Git for code repository , version control and collaborative development with RPGLE, CLLE code
- Hands-on experience with MKS Implementer including implementation, configuration, and DevOps integration.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to reverse-engineer and understand existing code. Good, structured analytical skills with the ability o debug code, perform unit testing
- Expertise in Tools like SEU, SDA, PDM, DBU, DFU, RLU, QUERY/400.
- Strong Knowledge in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from analysis through maintenance.
- Extensively worked on AS400 Platforms
- Expertise in programming and developing procedures.
- Possess good, structured, analytical skill with focus on debugging techniques, Unit Testing and Testing of application programs.
- Good working knowledge in writing SQL queries and able to understand the database, database relation, DSPF's, PRTF's and IFS
- Able to work in enhancement, maintenance, and production support projects.
