Job Description
Join the Mission Integration team and work together to provide real time troubleshooting for all Satellite Control Network (SCN) programs. Includes assisting new space programs integrating into the SCN by reviewing ground station and space vehicle requirements and providing integration testing from the SCN communications center at Schriever Space Force Base (SSFB). Job includes supporting pre-launch operations, launch, and on orbit space vehicles. Interface daily with customers all over the country and Remote Tracking Stations (RTS) across the world.
Daily operations include dynamic testing and troubleshooting of communication interfaces with RTS, troubleshooting upgrades to existing antennas ranging from equipment to software. Testing and troubleshooting with new RTS antenna systems coming online. Work with Mission Integration to effectively provide pertinent results verbally to associated test parties involved. In addition to monitoring and troubleshooting SCN operations, Mission Integration team members provide Inter-Range Operations Number (IRON) database support to SCN users with new or modified space vehicle requirements. The IRON database houses all the Telemetry, Command, and Communication ground station parameters.
The Mission Integration team has dynamic tasking providing new challenges every day. Looking for an individual who can jump into a team and handle real time constructive feedback and perform tasking with multiple troubleshooting efforts in surrounding area.
Basic Qualifications
Understanding of multi-system networks
Experienced in Satellite Control Network or equivalent network communication segment data collection and analysis using instrumentation and software
Experience with Satellite Control Network Satellite Operations Centers and Ground Systems
Experience with Satellite Control Network communication systems
Testing, diagnosis and root cause analysis
Technical document review and writing
Experience writing and redlining detailed test procedures
Desired skills
Proficient in data quality review, including data verification
Strong technical writing and presentation skills, with an emphasis on interpreting and presenting large
amounts of data
Familiarization with test and diagnostic equipment to include but not limited to Protocol Analyzers (PA), Bit Error Rate Testers (BERT), and oscilloscopes.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
