Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to play a critical role in shaping and maintaining the security posture of our enterprise systems. This individual will partner closely with IT teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure security controls are embedded into current and future solutions, while driving process improvements and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Security Architecture & Design Develop and maintain security designs, frameworks, and reference architectures for enterprise technology systems. Provide oversight on new development efforts to ensure alignment with security policies and standards.
  • Security Strategy Support Contribute to the development and execution of the annual Information Security Strategy and roadmaps.
  • Cybersecurity Tools & Processes Leverage knowledge of cybersecurity tools and operational processes to evaluate residual risks and promote best practices.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, SOX, GLBA, CCPA, GDPR, and other regulatory requirements. Apply frameworks such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and NIST-CSF.
  • Cloud Security Architect and implement secure multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and other providers. Create secure migration patterns and analyze cyber risks across distributed systems.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, or related IT roles.
  • Strong background in security architecture, cyber controls, and regulatory compliance (PCI, SOX, GLBA, GDPR).
  • Proven expertise in IT engineering, security consulting, and audit processes.
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure (multi-cloud/hybrid-cloud environments).
  • Experience in risk analysis, security solution design, and enterprise cloud security.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across business units.
  • Security certification (e.g., CISSP, CRISC, CISM, or equivalent).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related field (experience in lieu of degree considered).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, PowerShell).
  • Experience with DevSecOps, SRE, CI/CD pipelines, and container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native security tools (AWS GuardDuty, Azure Security Center).
  • AI or advanced security certifications are a plus.
