Position Summary:
Aureon Consulting is seeking a seasoned Systems Analyst with strong COBOL development experience to join a collaborative team of mainframe and mid-tier developers. This role involves supporting and maintaining a legacy administration system while contributing to its modernization. The ideal candidate will help deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency and maintain exceptional customer service.
This is a direct, full-time opportunity that requires onsite work in Fargo, ND.

Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Strong planning, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with COBOL and JCL in a mainframe environment.
- Experience with Java development or a strong willingness to learn Java as part of system modernization.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow professionally.
- Basic leadership and presentation skills.
