Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager will lead cross-functional initiatives within an Innovation Accelerator focused on grid modernization, renewable energy integration, and customer-centric energy solutions. This role supports the Alpha Project, which is developing an advanced energy load management device to enable electrification and modernize the power grid. The Project Manager will drive delivery through structured project management, cross-team coordination, and risk mitigation to ensure success through 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned projects, ensuring communication, coordination, and accountability.
  • Apply advanced project management techniques to define and execute project scope, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
  • Obtain stakeholder alignment on detailed work plans, timelines, and communication strategies.
  • Oversee vendor deliverables, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely execution.
  • Manage budgets, financial tracking, and project reporting using tools such as PlanisWare, EPIC PMO, and related platforms.
  • Conduct project meetings (daily, weekly, monthly reviews) to monitor progress and critical milestones.
  • Lead documentation, approvals, and reporting on key project metrics and deliverables.
  • Negotiate contracts and collaborate with external vendors and internal partners.
  • Identify project performance issues, recommend corrective actions, and apply lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Support development of tactical and strategic implementation plans (1-3-10/Workstream management).

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of project management experience in energy, utilities, engineering, or construction.
  • Demonstrated success leading multi-year, high-visibility programs with complex technical deliverables.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Experience within the electric utility industry or similar sectors.
  • Familiarity with innovation or R&D-driven projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
