Job Description -

Position: IT SR SAP FS-RI Configuration
Duration: 6 Months+ on PV W2
Location: Hybrid 2 days onsite per week in one of the following locations: Portsmouth, NH/Boston, MA/Plano, TX/Indianapolis, IN/Columbus, OH (will consider fully remote for the right fit if candidate isn t local to those locations)

Qualifications 5+ years of SAP finance configuration experience - FI/CO, FS-RI, FS-CD o FS-RI Reinsurance module in SAP. Used by insurance companies to handle contracts with other insurers. o FS-CD Collections & Disbursements. Handles payments in and out, similar to accounts receivable/payable. o FI/CO SAP Finance and Controlling modules foundational finance tools within SAP. Extensive knowledge implementing SAP and FI/CO modules.

Nice to have skills o Experience within the insurance or finance industry o Worked in Agile teams

Qualifications
Bachelor or Master`s degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5+ years of Techno-Functional SAP Finance experience.
Minimum 1-3+ years of hands-on FS-RI and FS-CD configuration experience preferred.
Extensive knowledge implementing SAP and FI/CO modules.
Strong understanding of financial transactional flow, SAP general ledger and reinsurance concepts such as company codes, treaties, chart of accounts, coding blocks, profit centers, cost centers, ledgers, currencies, etc.
Strong understanding of reinsurance business processes and ability to map business requirements to standard SAP processes with minimal or no customization.
Strong communication with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders with a proven track record of collaboration across multiple organizations, business partners, and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work with ambiguous and incomplete information.
Good understanding of agile software development concepts and processes including backlog tracking, prioritization, strong collaboration within a scrum team, and adaptability through incremental delivery.
Must be proactive, demonstrate initiative and be a logical thinker, have extensive consultative skills, including the ability to understand and apply customer requirements, including drawing out unforeseen implications and making recommendations for design, the ability to define design reasoning, understanding potential impacts of design requirements.
Strong negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills.
Experience providing production support including troubleshooting issues, requirements gathering and solution design for enhancement requests, as well as implementing the solution via configuration, etc.
Experience within the Insurance or Finance industry is preferred.
