Role: Senior Java LAMP Developer
Location: Austin, TX (Remote for any where in Texas)
Duration: 1-4 Years
Summary:
Perform web development work as a member of Information Technology (IT) Scheduled Releases team. Develop Java full stack with emphasis on front end implementation. Responsible for activities during all phases of the System Development Life Cycle including analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving software, data, hardware and reporting problems and troubleshooting system issues for internal and external clients. Develops and tests Web Applications that meet design specifications, including accessibility and usability requirements. Documents current processes, reviews written specification additions/modifications and creates test cases for submitted defects involving new and modified program policies. Analyze, design, and develop logical, structured programs and systems appropriate to customer needs which are well-documented programs and that may be maintained by others. Ensure adherence to program documentation and procedural standards, and management goals and objectives. Perform other duties as assigned to maintain operations.
Required Skills:
- 4-7 Years of Experience in EAP 8, Java OpenJDK 1.8 or above, Spring batch 2.1.8, iText-2.1.5, Squirrel SQL Client.
- 4-7 Years of Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.x/7.x (RHEL), Red hat Code ready studio 12.21.3.GA.
- 4-7 Years of Proficient at migrating web content to RHEL 8 Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 (RHEL 8).
- 4-7 Years of Proficient in web development.
- 4-7 Years of Collaboration; ability to work effectively with web admin, Unix admin, and IT teams.
- 4-7 Years of Content Migration; skilled in migrating web content from legacy servers to current web servers.
- 4-7 Years of Environment Management; experience managing and migrating environments to RHEL 8.
- 4-7 Years of PHP Development; expertise in server-side development using PHP.
- 4-7 Years of Proficient with Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP.
- 4-7 Years of Experience in DB2 Database.
- 4-7 Years of Knowledge of web security best practices (OWASP, secure coding) preventing common vulnerabilities like SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF, WAF (Web Application Firewall).
- 4-7 Years of Experience with Government Regulations/Compliance.
- 4-7 Years of Experience Working with Style Guides and Standards Web Admins can help adjust to TWC standards.
Preferred:
- 4-7 Years of Experience using GitHub repository or other.
- 4-7 Years of Experience in Visual Code Studio or similar.
