RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Birmingham, AL that is seeking a Business Systems Analyst - Banking/Mortgage to join their growing Consumer Banking Technology team. This role will focus on supporting mortgage and consumer banking systems, with an emphasis on Empower (Black Knight) mortgage software and ARGO account origination systems.

Summary:
The BSA will work closely with business users, technical teams, and leadership to validate systems, perform testing, support reporting initiatives, and analyze data to drive operational improvements. The ideal candidate brings a strong banking or mortgage background, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with system validation, data analysis, KPI reporting, and ticket management tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide functional and technical support for consumer and mortgage banking systems, including Empower (Black Knight) and ARGO
* Perform system validation and software testing to ensure reliability and compliance with regulatory requirements
* Develop and maintain KPI reports and other performance metrics to track system issues and resolutions
* Analyze data and report on trends, identifying recurring issues and working with technical teams to resolve root causes
* Manage and track tickets using ServiceNow; create and manage related bugs and tasks within Jira
* Support smaller consumer applications and systems that facilitate account opening and loan processing
* Assist in Confluence site management and documentation for team processes and reporting
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile or hybrid environment to prioritize tasks and deliver enhancements

REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma or GED and 7+ years of related experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience
* Proven experience supporting financial or banking applications
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
* Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills

Preferred:
* Experience with Empower or Black Knight mortgage platforms
* Experience with ARGO account origination systems
* Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and Jira for ticket tracking and workflow management
* Knowledge of Confluence site management
* Experience developing and maintaining KPI dashboards and reports
* Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
* Background in banking, mortgage operations, or branch systems

This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years of experience in system support, business analysis, or data analysis within the banking or mortgage industry. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical acumen, the ability to juggle multiple priorities, and the desire to contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
