job summary:

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced technical DevOps resource to assist in building infrastructure and developing CI/CD pipelines for data assets within a new AWS technology stack, utilizing tools such as Databricks and Starburst. A strong understanding of enterprise security policies and governance frameworks is required. This role also involves familiarity with tools like Immuta, Collibra, Alteryx, Gitlab and Tableau. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate environments, expertise in DevOps practices-including infrastructure as code and automated deployments-and the ability to manage both direct and indirect access to data pipelines. Experience supporting data mesh programs and delivering secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions is essential.

responsibilities:

-Define and document continuous integration / continuous deployment ("CI/CD") best practices.


- Solve difficult problems with scripting language across multiple environments.


- Evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to improve speed, efficiency, and scalability for continuous integration.


- Experience with the AWS cloud stack.


- Conduct spot checks of different product teams to provide assistance to developers and operations teams to increase speed-to- market or product quality.


- Work with partners across all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.


- Works across multiple platforms and applications to understand dependencies.


Implement and maintain security in accordance with FRS security policies.




qualifications:

Experience and Proficiency in Databricks, Starburst, AWS and DevOps is required. Experience with Immuta, Collibra, Alteryx, Tableau, Gitlab, Python is a plus. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate environments, expertise in DevOps practices-including infrastructure as code and automated deployments-and the ability to manage both direct and indirect access to data pipelines with strong understanding of enterprise security policies and governance
