Position: Senior UAT Tester
Location: Charlotte, NC (1525 W W T Harris Blvd - CIC)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in-office; Tuesdays mandatory onsite)
Pay Range: $55-$65/hr (W2)
We are seeking a Senior UAT Tester for a contingent resource assignment to support large-scale initiatives within Technology Business Services Consulting. The ideal candidate will bring strong UAT testing expertise combined with project management and product ownership experience. This role requires someone who can coordinate end-to-end testing efforts, facilitate planning sessions, create detailed project documentation, and collaborate strategically with stakeholders across the enterprise.
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. About the Role
We are seeking a Senior UAT Tester for a contingent resource assignment to support large-scale initiatives within Technology Business Services Consulting. The ideal candidate will bring strong UAT testing expertise combined with project management and product ownership experience. This role requires someone who can coordinate end-to-end testing efforts, facilitate planning sessions, create detailed project documentation, and collaborate strategically with stakeholders across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead UAT coordination including test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Support large-scale projects by reviewing and analyzing complex business service challenges.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and executive-level presentations.
- Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and create automation test scripts.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to ensure alignment across teams.
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and working sessions (virtual & in-person).
- Track timelines and deliverables across multiple projects including integration testing and production validation.
- Ensure compliance with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles and Agile methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT experience in support of Business Services (work, consulting, training, military, or education).
- 5+ years as a Product Owner / Project Manager / Business Analyst in an Agile Scrum team environment.
- Strong background in UAT testing and test coordination.
- Experience with Agile project methodologies and tools (JIRA, QC/ALM, Confluence).
- Ability to create detailed project plans, schedules, and presentations.
- Hands-on experience with automation test scripts and execution.
- Knowledge of APIs and system integration concepts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders from mid to senior management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Experience as a Program, Project, or Change Manager on complex projects.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks and tools.
- Experience with ALM is a plus.
- Background in Cornerstone projects (desired but not required).
