IAM Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Altamonte Springs, FL that is seeking an IAM Architect. This is a remote opportunity for someone who can guide the organization through its IAM journey, laying the foundation for future engineering resources and integrations.

Summary:
We're seeking a strategic and technically skilled IAM Architect to serve as the first advisory resource in a major identity transformation initiative within the higher education space. This role will lead the design and direction of our identity and access management (IAM) strategy, with a strong focus on integrating Workday Student, SailPoint, Radiant Logic, and Active Directory.

Responsibilities:
* Serve as the lead IAM advisor, helping shape strategy and architecture for identity modernization
* Design and guide the implementation of IAM solutions using SailPoint IdentityNow, Radiant Logic, and Active Directory
* Provide architectural oversight for Workday Student integration and transitions
* Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and business units to align IAM capabilities with institutional goals
* Recommend best practices for identity governance, role-based access control, and directory services
* Support future engineering hires by defining integration needs and technical roadmaps
* Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience as an IAM Architect or IAM Lead in complex environments
* Hands-on expertise with: SailPoint IdentityNow; Radiant Logic; Active Directory
* Experience with Workday Student or similar student information systems
* Coding experience in Java and/or C# (especially relevant for SailPoint/Radiant Logic customization)
* Familiarity with IAM in higher education environments
* Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management and federation
* Ability to work independently and advise on strategic direction

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
