POSITION: Software Developer 3 (Multiple Positions)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Design and develop software applications and programs that support Costco Logistics warehouses and Call Centers. Evaluate and address support problems reported by customers, team members, and suppliers. Prepare detailed specifications that support functional and technical requirements. Interact with other developers, operations, Product Owners, and Business Solutions Analysts to ensure that technical solutions support business needs. Create and maintain documentation standards. Participate in requirements gathering sessions to support operational and/or reporting utilization in Costco Logistics field operations. Leverage education and professional experience to coach and mentor developers to drive operational efficiencies and technical growth within the team. Evaluate and provide recommendations on permanent software changes to solve complex issues. Develop and maintain partnerships with Service Desk to ensure quality service and support. Provide technical guidance to the Junior developers on the team and assist support team resolve priority production issues. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% within the same MSA.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Two years of experience in:
- Performing Scope/ Backlog Analysis to create technical documents;
- Understanding functional requirements and providing the solution with proper documentation;
- Developing and writing high quality code that meets coding standards and customer requirements;
- Performing development and enhancement activities by creating/modifying process objects in HighJump Advantage Architect tool and Oracle database;
- Designing, developing, and writing high quality coding to develop Rest APIs that meets customer requirements using Microsoft .Net, .Net Core and Microsoft SQL Server technologies;
- Analyzing and fixing defects found by QA & Product owners and work closely with Quality Assurance Team to close out all open defects; and
- Participating in customer workshops.
