Job Description

This person will be a Tech Lead/Architect/StrategistRequirements

  • Extensive experience developing cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
  • Proficient in bridging native modules, managing platform-specific configurations, and integrating third-party SDKs.
  • Robust command of TypeScript for building maintainable, type-safe codebases.
  • Deep understanding of mobile performance optimization, including startup time, bundle size, memory management, and frame-rate stability.
  • Proficient in UI implementation, state management, and platform-specific behaviors.
  • Self-motivated and able to take ownership of projects from conception to delivery.
  • Effective collaborator in hybrid work environments (co-located and remote teams).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience to work with a large mobile development organization with more than 10 feature teams
  • Experience to lead the React Native adoption for an existing complex native iOS and Android app, using brownfield approach
  • Experience with React Native for web.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to and maintain shared cross-platform design systems.
  • Hands-on expertise with Expo SDK, EAS Build/Submit/Update, and OTA delivery workflows.
  • Familiarity with app distribution platforms (TestFlight, Google Play Console) and automated release pipelines.
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes, including GitHub Actions and EAS Build.
  • Proactive problem solver with a passion for adopting new mobile technologies and driving development velocity.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
