Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused On-Site Video Conferencing Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of video conferencing equipment and network provisioning, assisting end-users with technical issues, and optimizing teleconferencing solutions.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Provide on-site technical support for video conferencing equipment, including cameras, microphones, displays, and conferencing tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly.
- Assist with video conferencing setups, configurations, and troubleshooting.
Routine Maintenance:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of video conferencing systems to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Perform equipment and software updates as needed.
- Ensure users are comfortable and confident in utilizing video conferencing systems.
Network Provisioning:
- Maintain and optimize network infrastructure to support high-quality video conferencing.
- Configure and manage network settings to ensure seamless teleconferencing experiences.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Equipment Inventory:
- Maintain an inventory of video conferencing equipment and accessories.
- Track equipment usage and availability.
- Assist with procurement of replacement parts and accessories when necessary.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with IT Technicians and contractors on larger projects as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members to share knowledge and solve complex issues.
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing user concerns and inquiries promptly.
- Act as a point of contact for video conferencing-related questions and support requests.
Technical Proficiency:
- Knowledge of video conferencing equipment including cameras, microphones, displays, and conferencing tools.
- Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and fix technical issues quickly.
- Familiarity with network management tools and protocols such as Cisco IOS, Juniper, VLANs, VPNs, TCP/IP, and teleconferencing platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Webex.
Compensation:
- Pay is based on experience.
