We are looking for an Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) / Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Integration (ITI) Capability Integrator to join our team to support Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC), a government project office (PO) addressing Army Air and Missile Defense systems, with focus on Mission Command systems. The candidate in this role will work with both contractors, government civilians and system operators.

Your day-to-day work will include:
  • Serve as the liaison between IFMC PO and the THAAD Project Office (TPO).
  • Provide close coordination with THAAD component developers for integration into IBCS.
  • Monitor the development & testing of ITI features leading to new capabilities.
  • Represent THAAD Component & Capability Integration requirements in the IFMC Agile software planning process.
  • Review ITI System Engineering products and coordinate THAAD stakeholder participation.
  • Support development of internal/external written and verbal communications for on-going activities (This includes Situation Reports, updates to Staff charts, and responses to internal and external taskers).
  • Provide periodic reviews with appropriate representatives to determine the status of the overall project and major milestones
  • Other duties as assigned.

At a minimum you should have:
  • An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain it.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in DoD acquisition programs, with two (2) years directly associated with product development / integration.
  • The understanding of product integration, be conversant with the current and emerging US Army's Air and Missile Defense weapon systems and have some experience with the key functions applicable to BM/C4I product / software architectures.
  • The ability to be a self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced working environment, and be willing to engage various levels of stakeholders to ensure the new capability under development meets the needs of the warfighting customer and is delivered in a timely manner.
  • Experience with Agile Software Development .
  • Strong organizational skills with a record of taking initiative and being a team player .
  • Excellent communications skills, people skills and enthusiasm, and the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a team environment.
  • Experience in support of DoD programs is highly desired, especially in an Army Air and Missile Defense program.
  • Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence and SAFe Agile experience are a plus.


You will be highly desirable if you have:
  • Previous experience with the Army Air and Missile Defense Command and Control systems such as Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) or Patriot.
  • Previous experience with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) THAAD system.
  • Previous experience with integration of weapons or sensors into a Command-and-Control System.
