Complete Description:

This role is essential for ensuring high availability, secure access, and optimal performance of applications and services. The ideal candidate will have advanced networking knowledge, deep expertise in Citrix NetScaler, and strong troubleshooting and documentation capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable load balancing solutions to support reliable application delivery.
Configure and troubleshoot Layer 4 and Layer 7 load balancing policies for efficient traffic management.
Install and configure Citrix NetScaler appliances or virtual instances, ensuring seamless integration into existing network architecture.
Set up and maintain high availability (HA) and failover mechanisms, including active-passive and load-sharing configurations.
Implement NetScaler Content Switching to optimize application routing and delivery.
Manage SSL/TLS certificates and integrate authentication mechanisms to ensure secure connections.
Monitor system performance using built-in tools and third-party applications (e.g., Wireshark, NetScalerConsole).
Identify and resolve complex issues related to configuration, connectivity, and performance.
Analyze logs and events to proactively manage system health and prevent downtime.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and training materials for junior engineers and operations teams.
Required Skills:
Core Networking & Load Balancing:
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, NAT, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, and security policies.
Proven experience with Layer 4 and Layer 7 load balancing.
Hands-on expertise with Citrix NetScaler (CLI/NITRO API and GUI).
High availability and failover configuration skills.
Advanced NetScaler Content Switching capabilities.
SSL/TLS certificate management and authentication integration.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Proficiency with tools like Wireshark and NetScalerConsole.
Strong diagnostic skills for performance issues and system bottlenecks.
Experience with log analysis and event monitoring.
