Who We Are:
The Embedded Systems Section in the Strategic Aerospace Department provides electrical, aerospace and mechanical engineering support for several US Air Force Global Strike Command and Department of Defense programs. We are a multidisciplinary team of engineers that enjoy supporting the warfighter. We provide engineering services to projects involving the design, development and maintenance of hardware systems for the strategic aerospace community, including aircraft and ground support equipment ranging from microcircuits to major subsystems.

Objectives of this Role:
- Supporting full-time engineers in the following capacities: Support Electrical hardware development teams involved in developing requirements, designing, implementing, testing, and documenting.
- Support testing of prototyped electrical systems in the avionics labs.
- Interact directly with project team and project management to fully understand requirements and constraints of the task objectives.
- Local student position.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Work with engineering team to develop embedded design, development, integration, testing, research, programming, and documentation.
- Work with engineering team to develop technical documentation and reports based on hardware investigations.
- Design test stands to support testing of avionics Circuit Card Assemblies.
- Support hardware testing activities.
Requirements:
- Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
- 0 years: Electrical/hardware/firmware design and development skills.
- Must be 2 semesters away from graduating.
- Hardware/software integration, HWiL testing, simulation environments.
- A valid/clear driver's license is required.
