Role Overview

Team: Oracle Cloud IT Support supports financial accounting systems (Oracle Fusion, Oracle APM, Oracle Apex)

Primary Focus:

• Architecting Oracle Cloud solutions for finance
• Designing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
• Overseeing architecture and guiding development teams
• Building integrations, structuring database tables, and creating analytical dashboards for operational use
• Enhancing business processes using available tools and data

Core Responsibilities

• Work with accounting teams to understand business problems and translate them into data-driven technical solutions
• Guide developers on structuring database tables and integrations
• Ensure operational dashboards and data pipelines run effectively
• Architect solutions:
• Pull data from source systems
• Transform data
• Load data into databases
• Collaborate on enhancements to improve business processes and system functionality
• Provide techno-functional expertise bridging technical Oracle skills and financial accounting knowledge

Required Skills

• 5+ years in Oracle Fusion with strong SQL and PL/SQL skills
• Experience with Oracle Cloud (APM, Apex)
• Strong understanding of table structuring, data integrations, and database architecture
• Ability to guide architecture decisions and oversee development
• Strong database and analytics skills with Oracle Analytics Cloud (OBIE acceptable)
• Open to candidates with strong Power BI or Tableau experience (in addition to Oracle skills)
• Techno-functional capability must understand both systems and accounting processes

Technical Skills:

• Data Warehouse Architecture;
• Data Governance / Data Quality
• Oracle Fusion (EBS), Oracle EPM, and Oracle Analytics (OBIEE);
• Oracle Data Integrator (or equivalent ETL tool);

Nice-to-Have Skills

• REST API experience

• Serve as a strategic leader within the corporate finance IT team, driving innovation and efficiency through advanced data technology solutions.
• Architect end-to-end blueprint designs that leverage Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse, Oracle APEX low-code apps, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Collaborate closely with finance business users to deeply understand operational challenges and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Lead the design and implementation of data warehouse ETL integrations, analytics dashboards, and custom low-code applications, leveraging expertise in SQL/PLSQL and optimized database and table structure.
• Provide expert-level guidance on the Oracle technology stack, identifying opportunities to optimize and extend platform functionality.
• Mentor and guide development team through the build phase, ensuring adherence to architectural blueprints and best practices
• Champion the adoption of state-of-the-art data Oracle Data Warehouse, Analytics, and AI capabilities to support predictive analytics, reporting, and decision-making.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and propose enhancements to the existing architecture to future-proof the financial technology platform
• Ensure solutions are secure, performant, and compliant with enterprise data governance standards.
