Description

SAIC is seeking Enterprise Architect for the Continual Service Improvement (CSI) to support an IT Service Management effort for USTRANSCOM located at Scott Air Force Base (AFB) in Illinois. The USTC Managed Information Technology Services (MITS) contract is intended to provide strategic, technical, and program management guidance and support services to facilitate the operations and modernization of the combatant command's infrastructure, systems, and applications. This support will be provided to the USTC Command, Control, Communications & Cyber Systems Directorate (TCJ6).

The successful candidate will be responsible for working at the direction of the Process Improvement/Innovation Manager and with the Project Managers and Technical Leads to drive Task Order and enterprise-wide improvement to processes that will drive collaboration, integration, and transparency to achieve operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides transformation and strategic planning services in support of goals and objectives focused on improving USTC's foundation, delivering secure, modernized solutions to end users and customers, and maturing IT service management.
  • Analyzes business and enterprise information environment processes to identify and recommend solutions or innovations based on technology advancements and industry best practices for continuous service and business process improvement.
  • Supports documenting and presenting proposed innovations to program Management and USTC for consideration including estimated costs and potential risks.
  • Supports efforts to design and develop modern service offerings as well as to manage subsequently replaced infrastructure and/or applications.
  • Supports the development and implementation of IT service management plans, policies, guidelines, and processes.
  • Provides inputs to SOPs to reflect process modifications.

This position is for Monday through Friday, normal business hours. However, employee may be required to provide after-hours and weekend support during planned or emergency events .

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • DoD Secret clearance or higher .
  • Must have an ITIL V4 Foundations certification.
  • Speaks and writes fluent, grammatically correct English.
  • Ability to manage multiple, high, & competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills across all levels.
  • Ability to communicate IT, networking, and security concepts to personnel at all levels of experience and responsibility.
  • Familiarity with network management, security, monitoring tools, and/or cloud technologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products; specifically, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Knowledge and practice with project management and process improvement practices, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with business process modeling.
  • Practice eliciting and documenting service delivery requirements and workflows.
  • Experience working with ServiceNow low-code/no-code capabilities and standards.

Desired Qualifications:
  • MA/MS.
  • DoD TS/SCI clearance.
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
  • 4+ years of experience with ServiceNow ITSM utilization.
  • Completion of relevant ServiceNow training, accreditations, and certifications.

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
