Cybersecurity Project Manager Technology Risk
We are seeking a Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity and technology risk initiatives within a large retail enterprise. This role owns the full project lifecycle, ensures compliance with the clients PMO standards, and partners closely with Portfolio Management, Cybersecurity, ITRM, Audit, Compliance, and Architecture teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cybersecurity and technology risk initiatives from kickoff through delivery and closeout
Develop and govern project plans, milestones, and PMO artifacts
Manage initiatives such as risk assessments, control remediation, IAM governance, vulnerability remediation, and regulatory compliance
Serve as liaison between Portfolio Managers, stakeholders, and delivery teams
Provide weekly status updates and biweekly governance reporting highlighting risks, control gaps, and remediation progress
Facilitate approvals, risk & control reviews, architecture/design walkthroughs, and change control
Ensure testing, validation, and remediation evidence is completed
Manage project risks, issues, scope, and mitigation plans
Support implementation planning, cutover, rollout, and lessons learned
Requirements
Bachelor s degree required; Project Management certification preferred
5+ years of project management experience (enterprise IT/infrastructure)
5+ years of cybersecurity or technology risk experience
5+ years of retail industry project management experience
Experience with PPM tools (Planview preferred)
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility for occasional off-hours, weekends, or peak seasons
Minimal travel required
