Quality Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Quality Analyst in Boca Raton, FL.

Responsibilities:
* Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
* Quality Analyst will create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
* Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities
* Designing, developing, and executing automation scripts using open-source tools and Katalon Studio
* Identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly, and tracking bugs
* Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
* Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
* Liaising with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
* As a Quality Analyst, you will monitor debugging process results
* Investigating the causes of non-conforming software and training users to implement solutions
* Tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
* Staying up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
* Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
* Experience in software QA methodology
* Working knowledge of test management software and SQL
* Excellent communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
* Hands-on experience with Katalon Studio for automation testing - this is not a must, but would be very nice to have
* Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
