About the Role
In this opportunity as Senior Software Engineer, you will:
- Automate and deploy solutions to maintain and manage the infrastructure, including Backup, High Availability, and New Platform Setup in the automated way. (20%);
- Assess other code reviews for quality and value, including code quality, acceptance criteria, business logic, test coverage, and alignment with the overall architecture. (10%);
- Collaborate with ISRM team to increase applications' security scores, and address vulnerabilities reported by static application security testing and cyber risks tools. (30%);
- Foster a culture of innovation to enable the rapid development of AI solutions and frameworks. Provide transformative outcomes to stakeholders. (10%);
- Mentor and train team members to enhance their skills/knowledge development, and maintain SME 'runbooks/cheat sheets' for assigned services. (5%);
- Perform Incident and Application Scheduling: Assist Incident Managers with root cause analysis during outages. Develop methodology to ensure the health of applications and servers. Create and maintain technical documentation, such as system appreciation documents & Methods and Procedures. Drive application recovery efforts for all impacting outages. (5%);
- Perform Deployment and Support Activities: Plan, execute, and deliver tech refresh and other infrastructure upgrades. Ensure high software quality through scale, performance, and resiliency testing. (5%);
- Perform Application Event Management: Perform day-to-day operations, administration, and maintenance activities in support of the application. (5%);
- Perform monthly patching of application and database. (5%);
- Responsible for application startup/checklist tasks, log files, queues, transactions for exceptions, and react (fix/escalate/inform). (5%)

About You
You're a fit for the role of Senior Software Engineer if your background includes:
- A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline followed by 2 years of post-baccalaureate experience in a software development- or information security engineering- related occupation.
Experience must include the following, which may have been gained concurrently:
- 2 years of experience using system monitoring tools and automated testing framework, including DataDog and GitHub;
- 2 years of experience with the software development lifecycle process, including running projects end-to-end from scoping, designing, coding, release, and continuous monitoring in a production environment;
- 2 years of experience working on on-premise application migrations to AWS and supporting cloud applications;
- 2 years of experience in software engineering quality assurance;
- 2 years of experience working on static application security testing using Snyk and Trufflehog;
- 2 years of experience coding in Python and scripting with Git;
- 2 years of experience integrating AI frameworks across various projects, business use cases, and personas.
