**Who we are looking for**
A TECHNICAL cybersecurity risk advisor who partners with business and technology leaders to embed security into strategies and operations, aligned to company security policy and risk appetite.
**Key relationships**
- Business Information Security Officers (BISOs) and BISO Leaders
- Business and Technology Leaders
- 3 Lines of Defense (Business, Compliance, Risk Management, Corporate Audit)
- Regional CISOs
**What you will be responsible for**
- Embed security into aligned Business Units (BU) and cybersecurity strategies, roadmaps, and delivery through consistent engagement.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Global Cybersecurity (GSC) and assigned BUs, championing CISO programs.
- Translate complex technical risk into clear, actionable business terms for non-technical and technical teams.
- Assist in development and successful outcome of security KPIs/KRIs that drive control effectiveness
- Collaborate with respective SMEs in application and third party security assessments, and recommend remediation plan
- Advise on risk trade-offs and investments consistent with enterprise risk tolerance and BU priorities.
- Build BU security ambassadorship and foster a partnership culture across teams.
- Partner with BU leadership to identify, evaluate, and treat cybersecurity risks across products, processes, and vendors.
- Coordinate with technology and business teams to assess, implement, and monitor IT-related security risks.
- Create and deliver executive-ready presentations and briefings; influence outcomes across diverse audiences.
- Stay current on emerging threats, technologies, and trends; advise on business impact and response.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships; promote a collaborative, outcomes-focused environment.
- Guide and mentor junior staff at different skill levels.

- Understanding of Industry standards, frameworks, and regulations.
- Sound judgment and decision-making, balancing cost, benefit, and risk.
**Education & Preferred Qualifications**
- 7-10 years of information security/cybersecurity and related technology experience (financial services preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, IT).
- CISSP highly preferred; CRISC, CISM, CISA, Cloud Security, AI, or similar certifications a big plus.
- Experience in highly regulated environments, preferably in financial services.
Additional requirements
Travel up to 10% may be required.
