Title: ITOPS Analyst

Location : Midtown, NY (onsite)

Duration : 6+ Months

Certifications: Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate).

Job Description :

10+ Years Experience as ITOPS Analyst.

Strong experience with FIS Banking Systems.

Strong experience with Rocket Software Zena Scheduler

System Monitoring & Incident Response: Proactively monitor scheduler tasks for sensitive banking systems, identify anomalies, and resolve incidents efficiently. Troubleshoot error messages, re-sequence job steps within the Rocket Zena scheduler, and escalate issues as needed.

Job Scheduling & Management: Manage and maintain the Rocket Zena job scheduler, ensuring accurate configurations and schedules for critical banking processes. Utilize PowerShell scripting to automate tasks and enhance efficiency.

Process Improvement: Analyzing existing processes and identifying areas for optimization to enhance efficiency and reliability.

User Support & Onboarding: Provide first-level support to banking users, resolving technical issues and managing user access during onboarding and offboarding processes. Deploy and configure remote laptops following established security protocols.

File Transmission Management: Coordinate and manage secure file transmissions to and from the bank, maintaining the scheduler manifest and ensuring data integrity.

System Maintenance & Vendor Coordination: Perform preventative maintenance on hardware, printers, and HVAC systems. Coordinate with vendors to resolve hardware malfunctions and ensure timely repairs.

Optical Imaging Support (FCM): Manage and support the bank s Optical Imaging Solution (FCM).

Legal Support: Assist with ad-hoc Legal Searches.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with IT teams and business units to implement IT projects and continuously improve IT service delivery.

Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain detailed logs of system utilization, re-runs, completed production work, and other relevant information. Document processes and troubleshooting steps.

Training & Mentoring: Assist in training new personnel and upskill as needed.

Compliance and Regulatory: Experience with and understanding of banking regulations (e.g., NYDFS, GLBA, CCPA, PCI DSS) and their impact on IT operations. Ability to implement and maintain controls to ensure compliance.

Expertise with the Rocket software Zena job scheduling platform or similar batch scheduling platforms.

Proficiency in PowerShell and Python scripting.

Solid understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.

Working knowledge of networking principles (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP).

Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, and SSL.

Proficiency with Intune for device management.

Working knowledge of SFTP platforms like WS_FTP, Globalscape etc

Ability to work weekends and/or various shift rotations as required onsite.

Familiarity with audit processes and ability to respond to audit queries and implement corrective actions.

Understanding of data retention policies and procedures within a regulated banking environment.
