Job Overview
As an Entry-Level Data Scientist, you will leverage data-driven approaches to solve business challenges and build predictive insights. This role offers the opportunity to apply statistical methods, machine learning techniques, and programming skills to real-world datasets, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a supportive and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and prepare structured and unstructured datasets for analysis and modeling.
Apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns, build predictive models, and generate actionable insights.
Develop data pipelines and automation scripts in Python or R to streamline data workflows.
Create clear visualizations and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into data science solutions.
Validate, test, and optimize models to ensure reliability and accuracy in production.
Stay current with advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies.
Qualifications
Master's degree (preferred in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis and modeling.
Solid understanding of probability, statistics, and exploratory data analysis.
Familiarity with SQL for querying and managing databases.
Excellent communication skills to explain complex results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Candidates must have U.S. work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
Internship or project experience involving predictive modeling, NLP, or machine learning.
Familiarity with data visualization and dashboarding tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Python visualization libraries).
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and version control (Git).
Knowledge of big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
