Job Details

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Perform application development and data management. Develop and maintain Informatica oriented applications and database structures on Teradata and other RDMS databases. Develop innovative engineering solutions. Develop and automate large scale, high performance data processing systems to drive and improve product experience. Build scalable spark data pipelines leveraging scheduler and executor framework mature modern data pipeline streams for analytics use-cases. Manage data resources to ensure strong delivery. Identify additional capabilities gaps for data platform to support models. Work collaboratively with data scientists, data analysts, product owners and understand the data requirements for models and business objectives. Design data models for optimal storage and retrieval and to meet critical product and business requirements. Influence logging to support our data flow, architecting logging best practices where needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 5 (Five) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Assistant Consultant, Programmer Analyst, Associate, or related occupation The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus 3 (Three) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Assistant Consultant, Programmer Analyst, Associate, or related occupation.

Job Location: 1111 Polaris Parkway, Columbus, OH 43240. This position requires up to 10% domestic travel. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
