Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Java Software Development Analyst I to join our agile development team. This role is responsible for the design, development, performance, and support of enterprise Java/J2EE applications that drive process automation, integration, and user-facing solutions across employer and payer platforms.
The ideal candidate will participate in full-stack development, support production environments, and help ensure the stability, scalability, and effectiveness of critical applications, all while following established coding standards and Agile best practices.
Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java web applications using Spring MVC, Struts, and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.

Translate business and functional requirements into robust web pages, RESTful APIs, and backend processes.

Build front-end interfaces using HTML, JSP, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Develop and maintain database components—tables, stored procedures, and triggers—on Oracle platforms, utilizing JPA for data access.

Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, stand-ups) and contribute to project delivery.

Collaborate with Business Analysts to troubleshoot production issues, implement fixes, and plan releases.

Work with cross-functional teams (Middleware, Database Admins, QA) to deploy builds and resolve technical challenges.

Recommend improvements in performance, architecture, and code efficiency.
Qualifications
Experience:
-
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Java/J2EE web application development.

Strong background in full-stack development within enterprise environments.

Proven experience integrating complex systems, especially in Oracle-based ecosystems.

Hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ajax, JSON, and responsive UI design.

Familiarity with frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, Velocity is a plus.

Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, and XML Schema.

Experience with high-volume, performance-critical applications.

Healthcare industry experience and AngularJS knowledge are highly preferred.
