Job Description:

Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a growing company in Orange, CT.

Responsibilities:

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and processes for new and existing products (resilient metallic seals). Primary responsibility will be to support and update our systems to ensure our production schedule can operate smoothly. In addition they will provide engineering support to the Production floor. This support will include utilizing sound technical knowledge of materials, processes, techniques and products to improve on product performance and to reduce costs, to maximize production, and support new knowledge. The incumbent manages and documents projects and tasks effectively under minimal supervision by a technical leader, demonstrates an open and collaborative approach in all areas of responsibility, and seeks out others to enhance and streamline development and decision making.

?Qualifications:

The successful candidate should possess the following requirements: A Bachelors degree in engineering or similar discipline is required. 3+ years' work experience in an engineering capacity in a manufacturing environment. Practical / Technical knowledge of Welding Engineering is advantageous. Proven track record of project development and management. Analytical, logical, and data driven with demonstrated troubleshooting skills as it relates to production equipment. Understanding of lean principles and ability to implement improved processes Working knowledge of health, safety and environmental best practices Excellent written and oral communication skills. Able to make independent decisions as well as operate in a team environment. Strong Solid Works / AutoCAD skills. Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
