Job Duties:
Implementation of Okta integrations (SAML, OIDC, etc)
Okta Administration and Configuration
Troubleshooting and providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for Okta IAM solutions with application owners and end users.
Providing technical expertise and guidance on Okta best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
Configure advanced policies for SSO, MFA, contextual access, and risk-based authentication.
Monitor system health, resolve issues, and optimize Okta performance and reliability.
Evaluate new IAM technologies to enhance the Okta ecosystem and improve security posture.
Developing and maintaining documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
Perform feasibility analyses and provide recommendations for future system enhancements.
Guide and mentor junior engineers on Okta implementation, IAM best practices, and secure design principles.
Off Hours / Weekend Work:
Work may include the occasional after-hours and/or weekend work based on mission priorities.
Required Qualifications:
Okta Certification: Professional, Administrator, Consultant or Technical Architect
Minimum Experience:
Ten (10) years relevant experience of Okta Integrations: Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and privileged access management.
Five (5) years of experience in developing Okta Workflows
Five (5) years of experience in IGA and a minimum of Two (2) years of experience in Okta IGA
Experience with other IAM solutions beyond Okta
Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices (AWS, Azure, etc.)
Deep understanding of identity federation protocols such as SAML, OAuth, SCIM and OpenID Connect.
Hands-on experience with Okta API integrations and System Administration
