Description
We are looking for a skilled Network Administrator to join our team in Crystal Lake, Illinois. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, and supporting a wide range of technologies. Responsibilities:
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routers and related technologies to ensure seamless network operations.
Manage and secure firewall systems to protect the organization's IT infrastructure.
Support and maintain EO/IR systems, ensuring proper functionality and integration.
Administer Microsoft environments, including Active Directory, to manage user access and system resources.
Oversee backup systems and ensure data integrity and recovery capabilities.
Conduct hardware installations, upgrades, and repairs to maintain system reliability.
Implement and manage configuration management processes to maintain consistency across the network.
Collaborate with the design team to optimize and expand the network infrastructure.
Monitor network performance and address potential issues proactively.
Document network configurations and procedures to maintain comprehensive system records.
Requirements
Proven experience working with Cisco routers and related technologies.
Strong understanding of firewall technologies and their implementation.
Hands-on experience with EO/IR systems is highly desirable.
Proficiency in managing Microsoft environments, including Active Directory.
Familiarity with backup technologies and disaster recovery processes.
Solid knowledge of computer hardware and system configurations.
Experience with configuration management tools and practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
