IT Support Engineer

Description

• Deliver timely and professional Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to end users across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and standard applications.
• Provide day-to-day support for end users and IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability and uptime.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory (user accounts, group policies, OU structure, etc.).
• Administer and support Microsoft 365/Office 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Support, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments including DNS, DHCP, and file/print services.
• Monitor and manage VMware vSphere/ESXi infrastructure (VM provisioning, snapshots, resource optimization, etc.).
• Maintain and support Cisco network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
• Implement and enforce IT security best practices and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Participate in patch management, system upgrades, and backup/recovery procedures.
• Maintain detailed documentation for systems, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Collaborate with other IT staff and departments to deliver projects and resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT support or systems administration.
• Strong proficiency in managing Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server OS.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online.
• Solid understanding of VMware vSphere, ESXi host management, and virtual networking.
• Proficient with Cisco IOS, including basic routing, switching, VLANs, and firewall rules.
• Familiarity with backup technologies and disaster recovery planning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
