Workday Finance Consultant

Location: New York, NY (Hybrid, Only locals)

Duration: 8 months contract

Overview:

We are seeking a Workday Finance Consultant to provide coverage during a team member's paternity leave. This role is a high-visibility, client-facing engagement where you will work directly with our client.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary support for Workday Finance (FINS) modules (not HCM).
• Provide continuity of operations during staggered leave coverage.
• Partner with the client team to support multiple integrated systems.
• Conduct knowledge transfer (KT) sessions with the client's internal team prior to transition.
• Deliver both strategic guidance and hands-on execution to ensure stability across financial processes.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Workday Financial Management with broad coverage across:
  • Accounting
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Procurement & Spend Management
  • Asset Management
  • Expenses
  • Revenue Management
  • Analytics & Reporting
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic client environment.
• Strong mix of strategic advisory and operational delivery skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities; capable of representing our team in a client-facing role.
• A proactive, high-performing team player who thrives in high-visibility engagements.
