Pyspark Data Analyst

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Fraud, Legal, Operations, Product and Business Development to design and implement fraud monitoring solutions and fraud prevention strategies.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies related to gift card fraud.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that monitors suspicious activities trends.
• Create and track fraud KPIs to measure the effectiveness of fraud prevention strategies.
• Proactively identify emerging gift card fraud schemes and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with other fraud analysts, data scientists, and engineers to develop fraud prevention tools, systems and products.
• Proven experience (10+ years) in an analytics/data science or equivalent role, ideally with fraud / cybersecurity / financial services or retail industry experience
• Ability to conceive and execute the design of end to end scripted analytics solutions using SQL/Hadoop, Spark SQL and PySpark/Hadoop
• Proven proficiency with Python for data manipulation, visualization and process automation
• Love for applied empirical analytics and data mining
• Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau for full-stack data analysis, insight synthesis and presentation
• Collaboration, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt and engage across a variety of audiences. This includes significant written, verbal and data visualization skills to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, detailed, and concise manner
