We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to assist with critical IT initiatives, including system upgrades, hardware setup, and end-user support. This is a hands-on role requiring strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work both remotely and deskside.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for Windows laptops and desktops
- Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and resolve user incidents
- Track and manage tickets using an ITSM system
- Install software packages (automated and manual)
- Set up workstations, peripherals, and assist with user onboarding
- Support system upgrades (e.g., Windows 11, BIOS updates, BitLocker encryption)
- Assist with technical aspects of office relocation and workstation setup
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in desktop support
- Proficient in troubleshooting Windows environments
- Experience with ticketing systems
- Skilled in software installation and hardware setup
Nice to Have:
- Experience with tools like Ivanti or SCCM
- Familiarity with system imaging processes
