Qualifications
- Experience in SRE, DevOps, or Production Engineering in large-scale environments
- Experience with mail or messaging platforms strongly preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work calmly under pressure
- Strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform, Python, Kubernetes, Linux, Terraform, Helm, and automation tool development
- Comfortable in communicating and collaborating across time zones
- Effective communication in distributed teams
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement for service reliability
Technical Skills & Tools
- Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) administration and debugging
- Programming/scripting in Python
- Kubernetes (K8s): deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting
- Linux system administration and troubleshooting
- Infrastructure automation with Terraform (IaC, Infrastructure as Code)
- Helm chart development, customization, and deployment
- Experience with monitoring/alerting solutions (e.g., Google observability)
- Development of automation and alert integration tools
- Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Argo, Screwdriver, GitHub Actions
