Senior Quality Engineer Lead

Position Description
CGI is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Engineer Lead work with a leading US bank's Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing processes to ensure the quality and reliability of their products. This role will focus on developing and executing automated test scripts, analyzing results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and efficiency.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Lead overall test deliverables of assigned project from inception to deployment. Acts Single point of Contact for testing efforts for the assigned module/application.
- Lead the overall automation team and guide the team on framework development, follow best practices, improve the automation % etc
- Build and Maintain Selenium/Cucumber/BDD framework automation suits.
- Execute GUI, API testing as required including Karate Framework.
- Create and Maintain Automation suites based on Java programming and Object oriented concepts.
- Perform in-sprint automation within assigned project for all phases of test life cycle
- Should have good exposure in creating simple/medium/complex SQL queries.
- As a member of agile team, participate in all ceremonies, scrum calls, demos and planning sessions.
- Should have good understanding of DevOps and git repository maintenance.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2. Proven experience in test automation, preferably in a software development or hardware testing environment.
3. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
4. Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
5. Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, or similar.
6. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
9. Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $76,300-$125,800
